Dean Hay is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist with 25+ years of experience in Urban Forestry and Biophilic Design.  He is the principal lead of the Gulfport Environmental Team and leads the citizen science group to bring a healthier natural balance in the Gulfport Florida community.

Dean is the principal designer and owner of Community Land Ethics, a landscape design/build firm specializing in native and pollinator gardens, sustainable hardscape, nature-based stormwater solutions and innovative rainwater collection systems for residential and commercial projects clients. 

Dean passionately seeks to protect natural resources in the Tampa Bay region, improve equitable access to natural restorative spaces, and reestablish a sustainable balance of well-designed biophilic urban spaces.

Dean received a Masters of Landscape Architecture from University of Michigan, is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Master Arborist and consulting municipal arborist.
