PROTECTING
THE WILD HEART
OF ST. PETE

Our Mission

PRESERVING A LOCAL TREASURE

The mission of the Friends of Boyd Hill is to protect, support and promote the Preserve and its programs through volunteer service; financial support; and environmental education/advocacy. Examples of our work include hosting member appreciation events, providing camp scholarships for children, funding environmental education exhibits, underwriting the Natural History Speaker Series, advocating for land acquisition, and supplementing the Birds of Prey program.

Although we work closely with the City of St. Petersburg, we do not own or manage the Preserve and its programs.
