Feral hogs are both valued and reviled by society.
What effects are they having across the Florida landscape? And what effects is the restoration of Florida panthers having on feral hogs? Come join us as our speaker shares his knowledge about space use, survival, and causes of mortality across a landscape mosaic of agricultural and pastureland, swampy flatwoods, and hammocks.

Speaker Bio:
Christopher Satter is a wildlife biologist whose research focuses on estimating the population sizes of wild cats, which are very difficult to study due to their secretive nature. He earned his M.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2016 and his B.S. from the University of West Florida in 2013.
