Do-gooders who love Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and Florida’s wild places. We are serious about service, but with a laid-back style.
Our goal is to provide financial and volunteer support to protect and promote the Preserve. Examples of our work include hosting member appreciation events, providing camp scholarships, funding environmental education exhibits, underwriting the Natural History Speaker Series, and supplementing the Bird of Prey program. Although we work closely with the City of St. Petersburg, we do not own or manage the Preserve and its programs.
Who We Are
Applicants will participate in a casual interview with a current Board Member and are encouraged to attend a Board meeting on May 21 or June 18.
Those recommended by the Nominating Committee will be considered by the general membership during the August election and elected members are expected to attend at the Annual Planning Meeting in September/early October 2026.
